One of my paintings has been accepted into the Crystal Lake Art Center All-Media Juried Art Exhibition. It will be there for the month of September.  There is a reception Sept. 9 at 5pm to 7pm. Come see me !

Had the surgery...doing fine. I'm already frustrated with this sling on my arm but glad I can get outside, it is nice and warm for a change.  Maybe I can paint some new abstract with my left hand!!!

It's the pits, but I am having surgery on my rotator cuff on April 1 (I'm such a fool!!).  I will be in a sling for six weeks and will get it off in time for the SDP Painting Convention in which I am teaching two classes.  I can still send orders as my left hand is slow but can type with it.  Soooo, WISH ME LUCK !

I have just added some of my paintings and functional pieces into a new gallery in Traverse City.  Evergreen Gallery (next to Mackinac Brewery) has a wonderful display of Funtional and Inspirational Art from many local artists. Come see my works at Evergreen Gallery.

May 15 - 5:30 pm Reception for the "Small Works Show".

I have 10 paintings in the show which will be there for a week. All works are 5" x 7" or smaller and all are $50 or less. There will be hundreds of pieces of artwork to choose from so don't miss it!

The show will also be open during the NMC Barbeque (Buffalo burgers and dogs, YUM!)    So you can shop after lunch or dinner! What fun!

Today, one of my paintings was accepted into the Art Works Alliance Show in Traverse City.  There were 171 entries and only 75 paintings were accepted into the show.

There is an Opening Reception on Friday, May 1,  6 - 9pm. All are invited, there will be snacks and many wonderful paintings to enjoy.

The April 18 Seminar was a success!  I had 21 students and we met at the Grand Traverse Mall meeting room.  Northern Expressions Decorative Artists sponsored the meeting and Seminar.  They are a great group of ladies of which I am a member and we had a very good time.  I taught them to paint "Take Me Fishing" in acrylic paint.  I have this painting for sale on my website in case you missed it and would like to have a painting of mine for maybe Father's Day???
